York prepares own cycle design guide

York City Council is developing its own cycle infrastructure design guidance that, amongst other things, will address accommodating cyclists in the city’s narrow streets such as Lendal Bridge and Gillygate. The guidance will be presented to members next month. Meanwhile, York and Cambridge have teamed up to share best practice on cycling. The cities are two of the Government’s cycling towns. ...
