Chinese electric passenger vehicle developer BYD is to ntroduce a battery-electric coach to the UK later this year.
The company hopes the move will put it in a strong position to dominate the switch from diesel by coaches, seen as a key contribution to net zero in the sector. BYD already produces battery-electric coach models for other markets.
