Transport minister Stephen Ladyman has criticised police forces for not doing enough to tackle drink driving. In a Commons debate on the new Road Safety Bill, Ladyman said: "I believe that in some parts of the country the police have dropped the ball on drink-driving and are not enforcing the existing 80mg level with the vigour I would like to see." Ladyman admitted that his comments, "May be controversial and may even get me into a bit of trouble"....
