Public authorities must do more to promote flexible models of car use such as taxis and private hire, car clubs, car hire, ride sharing, and peer-to-peer rental, according to a report by the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVLRA).
Cars in the City says cars will remain essential means of transport in urban areas but that authorities are not doing enough to promote flexible models of their use.
