Transport for London is taking forward plans to extend the Bakerloo Line from Elephant & Castle to Lewisham, via the Old Kent Road and New Cross Gate.
TfL consulted in 2014 on extending the line via the Old Kent Road, or Camberwell and Peckham Rye (LTT03 Oct 14).
Construction of the extension could start in 2024, with the line opening in 2030.
TfL will work with Network Rail and the London Borough of Southwark on plans for a Thameslink station at Camberwell. ...
