London Underground managing director Mike Brown has made a public apology to Tube passengers after a number of incidents on the network this week.
In two of the incidents passengers had to be evacuated from trains along the track after trains became stuck in tunnels.
Brown said: "I am sorry that for a second day many of our customers have had difficult and in some cases severely interrupted journeys to work.
