Wilts &?Dorset moves to end strike action

Go Ahead-owned Wilts &?Dorset has told the RMT union that it is willing to resume talks over their demands for shorter driving hours, but that it must first suspend further strike action. Staff at six depots, staged strike action earlier this week after management refused to accept a four and a half hour limit to continuous driving shifts. Managing director Alex Carter said there are no valid safety arguments in the union’s demands.
