M25 PFI widening complete

The Highways Agency’s multi-billion pound project to increase capacity on 38 miles of the M25 through Hertfordshire and Essex was completed this week. A fourth lane has been added to London’s orbital motorway in each direction between jctn 16 (Uxbridge/M40) and 23 (South Mimms/A1) and between jctn 27 (Epping/M11) and 30 (Thurrock/A13).
