Boroughs consult on parking penalties

Londoners are being consulted on the future structure of parking and other traffic penalties. The exercise by London Councils and Transport for London asks if the existing system of two-tier penalties introduced in 2007 should be retained or replaced by a single charge level. Views are also sought on penalties for moving traffic contraventions such as driving in bus lanes and blocking yellow box junctions; wheel clamp release fees; and contraventions of the London Lorry Control Scheme....
