Speed cameras for danger road

Average speed cameras are being installed on a road in the north of England that has been labelled “the most dangerous road in Britain”. The cameras will enforce the 50mph speed limit on the A537 ‘Cat and Fiddle’ road between Macclesfield and Buxton. The road is popular with motor-cyclists touring the Peak District National Park. The cameras will be functional by the end of March and are a joint initiative of Cheshire Safer Roads Partnership and Derby and Derbyshire Road...
