‘Smarter choices’ risk being overlooked in the DaSTS studies

When Towards a Sustainable Transport System (TaSTS) was published in 2007, a major thrust behind it was the need to respond to the Eddington Study on the long-term links between transport and the UK’s economic productivity, growth and stability and Sir Nicholas Stern’s report on the economics of climate change (both 2006).
