Local Area Agreements mean that transport planners will have to 'think outside the box'

The Government's policy of local transport plans (LTPs) has much to do with this and is supported by the majority of local transport practitioners, stakeholders and the wider profession. This is a significant achievement and one that the profession and politicians should ensure is not lost in the forthcoming Local Transport Bill and Comprehensive Spending Review.
