A High Court in Belfast has ruled against the £1.7bn plan to turn the A5 into a dual carriageway between Londonderry and the Aughnacloy border in Northern Ireland.

Justice McAlinden said that the Department for Infrastructure’s (DfI) current plans did not comply with Northern Ireland’s climate change targets.
