Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has approved plans to pedestrianise a section of Oxford Street. Under the plan the section of Oxford Street between Orchard Street and Great Portland Street will be closed to private motorised vehicles, buses, taxis and private hire vehicles, cycles, scooters and pedicabs by the end of summer.
