Scrapping Section 106 is ‘step into the unknown’

The planning bill’s proposal to scrap Section 106 would mean “transport competing even more keenly than currently against other infrastructure needs – including health care, schools and affordable housing – than under the current arrangement”, warns Mark Frost, chair of the Transport Planning Society.
