The Government has approved Leeds City Council’s application to implement a charging Clean Air Zone (CAZ) covering more than half the city.
The Class B scheme will be implemented on 6 January 2020 and will see heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), coaches, buses, taxis and private hire vehicles (PHVs) pay a daily charge if they fail to meet CAZ emission standards.
