The Treasury is to work with the private sector to establish an investment fund to accelerate the delivery of electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
Chancellor Philip Hammond announced plans for a £400m Charging Infrastructure Investment Fund in the Budget last November. The plan will see the Treasury invest a maximum of £200m in the fund, with the appointed fund managers responsible for raising the 50 per cent or more private sector investment.
