The London Borough of Merton is exploring a workplace parking levy as a way of funding transport improvements.
Merton principal transport planner Chris Chowns told councillors a levy could support “an accelerated local implementation plan [LIP] investment programme, including contributions towards major infrastructure projects, such as a rapid transport system and dedicated infrastructure.”
