Transport for London is consulting on changes to how it allocates a big chunk of the local implementation plan (LIP) funding to boroughs.
The ‘corridors, neighbourhoods and supporting measures’ funding amounts to about £60m-£70m a year and is allocated by a needs-related formula that dates from 2010. TfL says the formula doesn’t reflect the current mayor’s transport strategy.
