The London Borough of Wandsworth is to run a 12-month trial of dockless bike hire.
Wandsworth says it has been approached by six firms wanting to set up schemes: Obike, Ofo, Mobike, Urbo, Nextbike, and Ponybike. This is despite Santander’s dock-based bike hire scheme already operating in the north of the borough.
