OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY Council is to draw up proposals for a workplace parking levy in Oxford “as a matter of urgency”.
The council’s new Oxford Transport Strategy says the levy will raise funding for investment in transport, and cut congestion by discouraging car use.
“With minimal exceptions, the levy would apply to all employers with a provision of employee parking over a certain threshold,” says the county.
