Aberdeen retains free e-car charging

Aberdeen City Council is to retain free charging for electric vehicles for at least another year, a decision that not only will benefit motorists but the city’s car club operator Co-wheels too. 

The number of publicly-available charge points in Aberdeen will soon rise from 42 to 52 with the installation of ten rapid and fast chargers funded by Transport Scotland, the Energy Saving Trust, and the council.
