The London Borough of Lambeth has reversed an Experimental Traffic Management Order closing roads at Loughborough Junction after sustained opposition from local residents, businesses and the emergency services.
Six roads were closed in the six-month trial at the end of August, with a review planned after three months. However, the borough responded to concerns, by bringing forward the review to just eight weeks into the trial.
