Tories’ housing policy will cut developer cash for transport

In your last issue you reported on possible changes to transport and planning policy under a Conservative Government. Some are very encouraging. For example, Theresa Villiers’ plan to change the treatment of fuel duty and small time savings in transport appraisal.

Others are brave, such as scrapping the Community Infrastructure Levy at a time of reduced public money for transport. Some might say this is foolhardy rather than brave but if housebuilding significantly reduces the semantics...
