81% of passengers across the UK are satisfied with their rail experience, the Passenger Focus National Passenger Survey for spring 2009 has revealed today, one percentage point up from spring 2008; 89% of passengers are satisfied with ScotRail services in Scotland, and 87% satisfied with Arriva Trains Wales services in Wales.

Passenger Focus welcomed improvements to passenger satisfaction with c2c (91%), First Great Western (81%), TransPennine Express (87%) and London Overground (75%).
