Plans to improve road links in Cornwall have been granted 'programme entry' status by the transport minister Rosie Winterton. The DfT will make a contribution of £34.5m towards the £44.5m cost of Cornwall County Council's package of measures that includes a new road between Redruth and Cambourne, a new dual carriageway linking the A30 to housing and employment areas, and bus priority on the A3074.
