Cambs and Oxford P&R delivery models reviewed

Cambridgeshire and Oxfordshire county councils are reviewing how to reduce the cost of their park-and-ride schemes.

Cambridge is served by five P&R sites that attract four million journeys each year. Under the existing delivery model, the county council manages the sites and Stagecoach has the exclusive right to operate express services into Cambridge city centre. Other operators serve the sites with stopping services. Operators pay the council departure charges.
