Chemotherapy medicine is being transported by drone over the Solent to gather data on the feasibility of using Uncrewed Aerial Vehicles to deliver urgent NHS consignments.
The trials, from 31 January 31 to 31 March, are flying the medicine between the Army’s drone centre at Baker Barracks in Thorney Island, West Sussex, and St Mary’s Hospital on the Isle of Wight.
