The opening of the Government’s UK Infrastructure Bank in Leeds has been welcomed by the Railway Industry Association (RIA). The Government said the new bank will provide £22bn of infrastructure finance to projects in the transport and clean energy sectors, and will help to finance projects in every region and nation of the UK.
