Birmingham’s number 11 bus route – said to be the longest urban bus route in Europe - is to be split in two. This is due to traffic delays at Perry Barr, where road works are taking place as part of a £700m regeneration of the area. The number 11, which has run since 1926, connects outer suburbs of the city in a continuous loop.
