Councillors in Birmingham have approved a £12.4m programme of public realm improvements in the city centre.
The works will cover Victoria Square and two streets running off to the east: Colmore Row and Waterloo Street. The council wants the work completed in time for Birmingham hosting the Commonwealth Games in summer 2022.
