Network Rail and Conwy County Borough Council in North Wales are being urged to swiftly re-open a footpath crossing over a railway after Network Rail’s legal fight to keep it closed reached the end of the road.
Network Rail closed the crossing over the single track Llandudno Junction to Llandudno Town branch in Deganwy in 2011. The council was unable to challenge the closure because the route was not listed on the council’s Definitive Map.
