Transport Scotland is exploring ways in which Scotland’s major transport projects could restart in the event of construction sector guidance about Covid-19 being relaxed. Scottish transport secretary Michael Matheson said this week that work was also under way to identify potential capital initiatives and infrastructure projects “that could be progressed as part of any wider economic recovery plan, should funding become available”.
