Government company HS2 Ltd has commenced market engagement on plans to build an automated people mover between Birmingham Interchange HS2 station, the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham International railway station and Birmingham Airport. A market questionnaire was issued last month. The tender process is expected to commence on 13 October.
