The National Audit Office this week censured the DfT and HS2 Ltd for their poor management of the HS2 project.
The NAO’s report, released as LTT closed for press, says the project is over budget and behind schedule because the DfT, HS2 Ltd and wider government have underestimated the project’s complexity and risk.
