Cancelling HS2 will push up the cost of all future major Government infrastructure projects because contractors will build in additional risk premiums to their tender prices, the rail industry warned this week.
The message comes in a letter to the Prime Minister ahead of the Government making a final decision on HS2 in the coming weeks.
