Trains powered by hydrogen would “cannibalise” passenger space and potentially require capital investment to lengthen station platforms, Angel Trains warned last week.
The rolling stock leasing company (Rosco) told a National Assembly for Wales committee that while hydrogen trains could play an important role, there were barriers to commercial roll-out.
