Plans have been unveiled for the redevelopment of Edinburgh Waverley station, including new platforms, covered walkways and escalators. The existing steps from Princes Street to a new station entrance will be enclosed and refurbished and a 'down' escalator installed to the station's mezzanine walkway from a new paved plaza off Princes Street.
