Derby’s air quality plan approved

The Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has approved Derby City Council’s action plan to bring annual mean nitrogen dioxide concentrations down to within the EU limit value. Defra’s direction to the council requires it to implement traffic management measures to achieve compliance by 2020.
