The Greater Manchester Combined Authority has approved next year’s budget for its bus reform work, which is exploring the case for franchising.
The combined authority last year approved a 2018/19 budget of £11.5m for the work, which is being led by Transport for Greater Manchester. However, a TfGM spokeswoman told LTT this week that the likely outturn expenditure in 2018/19 is likely to be just circa £6m.
