Transport Minister Nicol Stephen has announced the go-ahead for the final design work for the A68 Dalkeith Northern bypass. A 5km single carriageway road will run from a new junction on the A720 Edinburgh City bypass to the A68 south of Dalkeith. The scheme includes a grade separated junction at Salters Road. No start date is available.
