Work has started on constructing the Todhills park-and-ride site. The 318-space facility on the A7, south of Danderhall, will cater for traffic from the A7 and the A720, and include a building with waiting facilities, vending machines, toilets and CCTV. Existing bus services between Midlothian and Edinburgh city centre will serve the site, which should open by December.
