TfN funds ‘tap on, tap off’ bus ticketing

Bus operator Transdev Blazefield is to be the first in the North of England to trial “tap on, tap off’ contactless fare capping. The Harrogate-based company has been awarded £50,000 by Transport for the North (TfN) to pilot the technology. Transdev already offers contactless card payments, using Ticketer ticket machines and payments handled via the Littlepay processing platform.
