Borough studies light rail and sinking roads

The London Borough of Havering is exploring the possibility of a new public transport corridor – possibly light rail – and building above two major roads. 

The east London borough wants to improve north-south public transport connectivity across the borough, and says this could be in the form of light rail, a tram or guided busway.  ?

On the road network, it is exploring sinking the junction of the A12 and A127 at Gallows Corner to create space above for a new mixed use...
