HE consults on Hull road improvement

Highways England has launched a consultation on plans to improve a 0.9-mile section of the A63 trunk road through Hull. The dual carriageway acts as a barrier to movement between the city centre to the north and leisure facilities and dock areas to the south. The proposals include removing the existing at-grade Mytongate junction, with the A63 lowered to allow a new Mytongate bridge to be built carrying the Ferensway road over the trunk road.
