Southampton City Council has released more details of a proposed Clean Air Zone (CAZ) that will see daily charges imposed on heavy goods vehicles, buses, coaches and taxis that fail to meet standards.
Southampton is one of five cities that the Government says must introduce charging CAZs in order to accelerate compliance with European nitrogen dioxide limit values.
