Transport policy is underplaying the importance of air pollution on people’s health, according to academics at the University of the West of England.
Tim Chatterton, a senior research fellow at UWE’s Air Quality Management Resource Centre, and Graham Parkhurst, director of the Centre for Transport and Society, presented a paper on the subject to the Royal Geographical Society’s annual international conference.
