Nottingham City Council has outlined the next stages of its plans to expand smart ticketing on public transport.

The Robin Hood smartcard was launched last December and is available in two formats: pay-as-you-go (PAYG) and prepaid season tickets. 

The PAYG version is the only card in the UK outside London to offer daily capping. It can be used on bus services provided by Nottingham City Transport, Trent Barton, Kinchbus, and Linkbuses, as well as the Nottingham Express Transit light rail...
