A new type of ‘micro park’ called ParkedBench has replaced two parking bays on Tooley Street in the London Bridge area. ParkedBench was created by designers WMB Studio, after it won the Fresh Air Squares competition to deliver parklets in the London Bridge and Vauxhall areas. The competition was run by Team London Bridge, a not-for-profit company that manages the London Bridge Business Improvement District (BID), and was supported by Transport for London's Future Streets Incubator...
