Parklet campaigners want green spaces on every street

The London Parklet Campaign’s People Parking Day was an event that encourages the capital’s residents to hijack their nearest on-street car parking bay and turn it into a parklet.

People were urged to reclaim parking spaces outside their homes the weekend of 24-25 September by transforming them into places for activities such as fitness classes, tea parties and book clubs.
